Most "AI video statistics" pages repeat third-party market-size estimates. This one does not. Every figure below comes from Dupple's own analytics across Toolradar, dupple.com and AIpresso, measured on October 9, 2026, and is free to cite with attribution. The figures describe visits to our pages, not the whole market, so read them as a live sample of how buyers discover AI video tools. Where AI video searches come from

  • AI assistants sent 2,468 of the 2,893 visits (85.3%) to Dupple's AI video pages over the 26 weeks from April 6 to October 4, 2026. Search engines (Bing, Google, DuckDuckGo) sent the remaining 425. Source: Dupple analytics (Umami), visits whose first page was an AI video page, referred by a search engine or AI assistant.
  • ChatGPT alone sent 2,342 visits (81.0%), more than every search engine and every other assistant combined. Source: Dupple analytics, referrer chatgpt.com.
  • Bing sent 277 visits (9.6%), Microsoft Copilot 110 (3.8%), DuckDuckGo 76 (2.6%) and Google 72 (2.5%). Claude (10), Gemini (5) and Perplexity (1) were barely present for this topic. Source: Dupple analytics, referrer classification.
  • In the last four weeks (September 7 to October 4), ChatGPT sent 727 of 805 visits (90.3%), Bing 23 and Google 21 (2.6%). The more demand there is for this topic, the more of it arrives through ChatGPT. Source: Dupple analytics, weeks of September 7 to September 28, 2026.

Demand comes in waves

  • Weekly visits went from 30 to 492 in two weeks: 30 in the week of September 14, 232 in the week of September 21 and 492 in the week of September 28, 2026, a 16.4x jump. ChatGPT sent 465 of those 492 visits. Source: Dupple analytics, weekly counts, Monday to Sunday.
  • The same thing happened in spring: 1,187 visits in the five weeks from April 6 to May 10, 2026, 96.5% of them from AI assistants, peaking at 414 visits in the week of April 27. Source: Dupple analytics, weekly counts.
  • Between the two waves, the 19 weeks from May 11 to September 20 averaged 52 visits a week. AI video demand on our pages is not a steady trickle: it jumps when ChatGPT starts sending people to a page and falls back when it stops. Source: Dupple analytics, weekly counts.

Methodology

We counted visits to every AI video page on toolradar.com, dupple.com and aipresso.com whose first page view was referred by a search engine or an AI assistant, using Dupple's self-hosted Umami analytics, from April 6 to October 4, 2026 (26 complete Monday-to-Sunday weeks). A visit is classified by its referrer: chatgpt.com, copilot, gemini.google.com, claude.ai and perplexity.ai count as AI assistants; bing, google and duckduckgo count as search engines. Direct, social and unknown visits are excluded, which also removes scraper traffic. These are visits to our pages, so they show how buyers who reach Dupple discover AI video tools, not each engine's market share. Prices come from Toolradar's tool pricing pages, each verified there against the vendor's own page. We refresh this page monthly.
