Jasper Pricing 2026: Pro Seats, Business and What Changed

Jasper costs $69 a month for one Pro seat in 2026, or $59 a month billed yearly; Business is custom with a 12-month term. Plans, credits and cheaper options.

Jasper Pricing 2026: Pro Seats, Business and What Changed

Jasper costs $69 a month for its Pro plan billed monthly, or $59 a month billed yearly, and Pro includes one seat. Teams that need a second user, API access or custom agents move to Business, which has custom pricing and starts with a 12-month commitment. There is no free plan, only a 7-day free trial of Pro. Prices read October 18, 2026.

Every figure here was read on Jasper's pricing page and its credits rate card on 18 October 2026, with rival prices from Claude's pricing page, OpenAI's plan pricing and Copy.ai's pricing page the same day. Our view: Jasper is no longer priced as a writing tool for individuals. With one seat on Pro and every team feature behind a sales call, it is a marketing platform for companies, and the single-seat plan is mostly a way to try it.

Toolradar data: Toolradar, the software directory we run, tracks 139 AI writing tools as of October 17, 2026, and the median cheapest paid plan among the 48 that publish a price is $18.50 a month. Jasper's monthly Pro price is close to four times that median. Its Toolradar profile shows it listed as an alternative to 63 other tools, second most in the AI writing category.

Jasper plans at a glance

Plan Price Seats What it includes Commitment
Pro $69/mo billed monthly, $59/mo billed yearly 1 Canvas editor, agents for core marketing workflows, 2 Brand Voices, 5 knowledge assets, 3 audiences Monthly, cancel anytime; or 12 months paid up front
Business Custom pricing Multiple, set with sales Everything in Pro plus advanced agents, custom agent builder, Jasper Grid, unlimited brand customization, API, admin controls, SSO, dedicated account management Yearly contract

The plan structure is simpler than it used to be. Jasper's pricing page lists exactly two plans, Pro and Business, so any cheaper Creator or Teams tier quoted on older pages is not something you can buy from the page today. The page also prices only in US dollars: Jasper says other currencies are converted at purchase through Stripe, and it accepts credit and debit cards but not PayPal or prepaid cards.

What you get on Jasper Pro

Pro is built around brand control for one marketer. Its limits are on brand assets, not on output: 2 Brand Voices, 5 multi-modal knowledge assets and 3 audiences, while the credits rate card lists prompts and standard agent runs as unlimited. A freelancer writing for two clients fits; an agency juggling ten brands does not.

The plan includes the Canvas platform for creating content, agents for core marketing workflows, chat, remix and rewrite tools, image generation and editing, a browser extension for Chrome and Edge, integrations such as Webflow, Google Docs and Slack, and content in over 30 languages. Support is by email. Version history in the editor goes back 7 days.

What Pro leaves out matters as much. There is no style guide, no API access, no custom agents, no document collaboration and no team analytics. The comparison table marks Pro as "single user", and Jasper's FAQ answers the question of a second Pro user by pointing you to sales for Business. In practice, Pro is one person's tool, and Jasper's price per seat on the page is the price of that one seat.

Monthly or yearly: what the discount is really worth

Jasper advertises "save ~20%" on yearly billing. By our arithmetic the saving is smaller: twelve payments at the monthly rate come to $828, while a year at the yearly rate comes to $708, a difference of $120, or about 14.5%. That is still worth taking if you know you will use Jasper all year.

Yearly billing is paid up front and carries a 12-month commitment, so you are committed for the full year. Monthly billing has no ongoing commitment, and Jasper says monthly subscribers can pause for 30 days instead of cancelling. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the billing cycle. For a first year, monthly billing is the safer buy: the extra $120 is the price of being able to leave if Jasper does not fit your workflow.

Nonprofits get a 20% discount, applied by starting a free trial and then emailing Jasper. The 7-day trial is on Pro only.

How much does Jasper Business cost?

Jasper publishes no list price for Business. It is quoted by its sales team, sized to your seats and needs, and begins with a 12-month commitment. What the quote buys is the team layer Pro lacks: multiple users with admin controls and groups, role-based permissions, SSO with SAML 2.0 (Okta, Azure AD and Google Workspace are named), SCIM, a style guide, unlimited Brand Voices, knowledge and audiences, Jasper Grid for content at scale, the no-code agent builder, API access, a dedicated customer success manager and priority support.

Some Business features also consume credits, which sit alongside the seat price. The rate card lists these costs:

Feature Unit Credits
Prompts and standard agents 1 run Unlimited
Jasper Grid 1 row 10
GEO Hub 1 query run 10
Research Agent 1 run 40
Translation Agent 1 run 40
API or MCP content generation 1 call 1
API or MCP agent run 1 call 4

Jasper does not publish what a credit costs in dollars, so the credit line of a Business quote can only be compared once you have it. Ask for the credit allocation, the price of extra credits and the seat count in the same quote; a team running GEO reports and translations at volume will feel the credit line more than the seats.

Jasper vs ChatGPT, Claude and Copy.ai on price

Jasper's real competition for a single marketer is the general assistants, which cost a fraction of Pro. ChatGPT Plus is $20 a month on OpenAI's plan page. Claude Pro is $20 a month billed monthly, or $17 a month on a $200 yearly subscription. Copy.ai's Chat plan is $29 a month billed monthly, or $24 a month billed yearly ($288 a year), and it includes 5 seats.

One year of the entry paid plan Price Seats
Jasper Pro, yearly $708 1
Copy.ai Chat, yearly $288 5
ChatGPT Plus, monthly $240 1
Claude Pro, yearly $200 1

Yearly costs are our arithmetic on each vendor's published prices, read 18 October 2026.

The gap is about $500 a year per person against a general assistant, and Jasper has to earn it with brand control: stored voices, knowledge assets and audiences that apply to every output, plus marketing agents built for campaigns. A marketer who already writes good prompts and keeps a brand guide in a document can get most of the writing from Plus or Claude Pro. A team that wants every writer to sound the same without policing it is the buyer Jasper is priced for, and that buyer is on Business anyway.

Copy.ai is the odd one out: five seats for less than half the price of one Jasper Pro seat. If you need a shared AI workspace for a small team and do not need Jasper's brand system, compare the two before talking to Jasper sales. Our Copy.ai review covers it, and ChatGPT pricing and Claude pricing break down the general assistants.

Is Jasper worth the price?

  • Yes, for a marketing team that needs one brand voice across many writers, SSO and admin controls, and will use agents for research, translation and GEO. That team buys Business, and the Pro price is irrelevant to it.
  • Maybe, for a solo marketer or consultant who writes for one or two brands every day and values the stored brand assets. Try the 7-day trial on real work, then pay monthly for the first months.
  • No, for occasional writing. At $708 to $828 a year for one seat, Jasper costs roughly three to four times a general assistant. Our best AI writing tools ranking and best free AI writing tools list cover cheaper picks, and Grammarly pricing and Notion AI pricing price the tools many writers already pay for.

How we built this page

We read Jasper's pricing page, its plan comparison table and FAQ, and its credits rate card on 18 October 2026, along with the published plan prices of ChatGPT, Claude and Copy.ai the same day. The yearly totals and the size of the yearly discount are our arithmetic on those prices, not vendor quotes. We did not use Jasper for this page. The Toolradar figures come from its AI writing ranking and Jasper profile dated October 2026. Louis Corneloup, who founded Toolradar and Dupple, edited it.
