Manus AI Pricing 2026: Credits, Plans and Cost Per Task
Manus AI pricing in 2026: free with 300 daily credits, paid plans at $20, $40 and $200 a month, Team from $20 per seat, and what a research or website task costs.

Manus costs $0 to start and $20 a month for its entry paid plan, which includes 4,000 credits a month. The next steps are $40 a month for 8,000 credits and $200 a month for 40,000, and every plan, free included, adds 300 credits that refresh each day. Annual billing cuts the monthly equivalent by 17%, to $17, $34 and $167. Prices read on the Manus pricing page on 21 October 2026.
The useful number is what a credit buys, and Manus publishes its own examples. A 15-minute data analysis used 200 credits, a 25-minute website build 360 and an 80-minute app build 900. On monthly billing every paid tier works out to the same half a cent per credit, so those tasks cost about $1.00, $1.80 and $4.50, our arithmetic on Manus's figures.
Toolradar data: among the 997 AI agent tools Toolradar tracks as of 21 October 2026, 57% offer a free tier, and the median entry paid plan is $29 a month for the 293 tools priced as a flat monthly plan, so Manus's entry plan sits below the middle of the category. The product record is on Manus's Toolradar page, and the category data on Toolradar's AI agents statistics.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Monthly credits | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1,000 on signup, then 300 a day | Agent Mode runs Manus 2.0 Lite only |
| Pro, entry | $20/mo | $17/mo, billed yearly | 4,000 plus 300 a day | Manus 2.0, 2.0 Max and 2.0 Lite |
| Pro, customizable | $40/mo at the 8,000-credit setting | $34/mo, billed yearly | 8,000 plus 300 a day | 7-day free trial; usage level set on the page |
| Top fixed plan | $200/mo | $167/mo, billed yearly | 40,000 plus 300 a day | For sustained heavy use |
| Team | $20 per seat/mo | $200 per seat/year | 4,000 per seat, pooled | SSO add-on for under 30 seats |
Paid plans list the same limits on the pricing page: 20 concurrent tasks and 20 scheduled tasks, Wide Research for running tasks in parallel, and early access to beta features.
What does the free plan include?
Manus Free gives every new account 1,000 credits at registration and refreshes 300 credits every day, according to its help center. Free users can run Agent Mode only on Manus 2.0 Lite; Manus 2.0 and 2.0 Max are reserved for paid members, while Chat Mode is open to both.
At Manus's own examples, 300 credits cover one 200-credit data analysis a day, but not a 360-credit website build. The signup grant is enough to try one larger build. Credits from the signup grant never expire, which makes the free plan a fair test bench for someone who works on Manus a few times a month.
The free plan's ceiling is the model, not only the credit count. Agent tasks on Manus 2.0 or 2.0 Max need a paid plan, so a buyer judging quality on the free tier is judging the Lite model, not the one paid users run.
How much does Manus Pro cost?
Pro is the entry paid plan: 4,000 monthly credits on top of the daily 300, or $17 a month when billed yearly. The help center describes two Pro price points, the entry plan and the $40 plan, and only the second comes with a 7-day free trial.
That second plan is the customizable one. The pricing page shows it at 8,000 credits a month and labels it "customizable monthly usage", so you choose the usage level on the page rather than jumping straight to the next fixed tier. The top fixed plan, at 40,000 credits, is the one Manus labels extended usage.
The per-credit price does not fall as you climb. On monthly billing, each tier's price divided by its credit allowance comes to $0.005 per credit. There is no volume discount: you buy the tier whose allowance you will actually spend, because unused monthly credits are lost at renewal.
That makes the entry plan's arithmetic simple. Its 4,000 credits cover about 20 data analyses of the 200-credit kind, 11 website builds at 360 credits or four app builds at 900. The daily 300 credits sit on top, and Manus spends them before the monthly pool.
Is annual billing worth it?
Only if your usage is steady. Annual billing lowers the monthly equivalent by the 17% the page advertises, but the credits still arrive month by month and unused monthly credits do not roll over, on monthly or annual billing. At the end of the annual term, all remaining plan credits reset.
Paying a year ahead also removes the option to step down quickly. Manus applies downgrades at the next renewal date, not immediately, so a buyer who overestimates usage on an annual plan carries the larger plan to the end of the term.
Upgrades work the other way. In Manus's own example, moving from the entry plan to the next monthly plan mid-cycle costs the price difference and keeps the existing credits. The rules vary by where you subscribed: on Apple, the original order is refunded and the new plan is charged at full price.
How do Manus credits work?
Credits pay for three things: language model tokens for planning and writing, virtual machines that run browsers, files and code, and third-party data APIs. Manus charges only while a task is actively running; finished tasks and deployed outputs do not use credits.
| Example task (Manus's own) | Duration | Credits | Cost at $0.005 per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data analysis and visualization research | 15 minutes | 200 | $1.00 |
| Website design, code and deployment | 25 minutes | 360 | $1.80 |
| App development with data integration | 80 minutes | 900 | $4.50 |

The spending order matters for budgeting. Manus uses event credits first, then daily credits, then monthly, then add-on and finally free credits. Free credits and add-on credits never expire, monthly credits reset on the renewal date and event credits expire when the event ends.
Two rules protect the buyer. Manus refunds the credits of a task that fails because of a technical problem on its side. If a balance runs out mid-task, the account can briefly show a negative balance rather than cutting the task off, which Manus describes as expected.
Can you buy extra credits?
Yes, but only on the highest monthly-credit tier. The help center says add-on credits can be bought from the "Add credits" menu by subscribers who already hold the top monthly allocation, and the amount is chosen at purchase. The pricing page itself lists no add-on price.
Add-on credits never expire, but they need an active paid plan to work. If the subscription lapses or the account drops to Free, those credits go inactive. Anyone below the top tier who runs out has to upgrade the plan, so a heavy month on the entry plan costs the step up to the next level rather than a small top-up.
How much does Manus Team cost?
Manus Team starts at the entry plan's price per seat each month, or $200 per seat a year, based on 4,000 credits per seat per month. Credits go into a shared pool, so one member's unused allowance is available to colleagues in the same month.
For a five-person team, that is $100 a month on monthly billing or $1,000 a year on annual billing, with 20,000 pooled credits a month, our arithmetic on Manus's printed seat prices. Owners and super admins can buy add-on credits in Team settings and switch on auto-purchase.
SSO is the extra line to plan for. Teams of 30 seats or more get it included; smaller teams pay a flat $150 fee for it. Manus Enterprise sits above Team for organizations that need enforced SSO, legal hold, SIEM audit feeds and agent network controls.
How does Manus compare with ChatGPT on price?
The entry prices match. ChatGPT Plus costs the same as Manus's entry plan on OpenAI's pricing page, and ChatGPT Go costs $8. At the top end, ChatGPT Pro costs $100 a month and lists Dot, its always-on agent, while Manus's largest fixed plan costs $200.
The billing models differ more than the prices. ChatGPT sells unlimited everyday chat subject to abuse guardrails, while Manus meters every task in credits. A buyer who mostly chats gets more from a flat subscription; a buyer who hands off long research or build jobs can see exactly what each job cost on Manus.
For the wider field, the best AI agents ranking compares Manus with other autonomous tools, and the Manus AI review covers what the product does well and badly. The ChatGPT pricing, Claude pricing and Perplexity pricing pages cover the assistants most buyers weigh it against, and the ChatGPT review and Perplexity review cover what each does beyond price. What to check before you pay
Manus is going through a corporate change. Its help center says Manus will resume operating as an independent company, and that from 11 August 2026 it paused new subscriptions in affected regions, deleted certain data for affected accounts in late August and refunded affected subscriptions. Unaffected accounts kept their plans and data.
Read any in-app notice on your account before buying a year in advance. Manus also prices everything in US dollars; buyers paying in another currency are charged their bank's conversion and any card fees on top.
How we checked these prices
Every price was read on Manus's own pages on 21 October 2026: the pricing page with both the monthly and annual toggle, the help center's plan article, credit rules, add-on credits, upgrades and downgrades, signup credits, the service change notice and the Team page. ChatGPT prices come from OpenAI's pricing page on the same date. Task costs multiply Manus's published credit counts by the monthly-plan rate per credit.
