An AI translation tool is machine translation, a translation management system, or both. The engine maps source text to a target language. The TMS stores keys, memories, glossaries, vendor tasks and the Git or Figma connector. DeepL, Google Cloud Translation and Azure Translator are engines you call or sit in. Phrase and Lokalise are the workflow around the engine.
This is not brand-voice blog generation and not a grammar pass. If you wanted those, AIpresso already has writing-tool and chatbot lists, plus a ChatGPT review. Buy those when the job is drafting. Buy these when the job is shipping German, Japanese or Arabic without retyping the product.
Why it matters
