Fireflies.ai Pricing 2026: Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise
Fireflies.ai pricing in 2026: Free, Pro $10 a seat yearly or $18 monthly, Business $19 or $29, Enterprise $39 yearly only. Storage caps and team costs.

Fireflies.ai costs $0 on Free, $10 per seat a month on Pro billed yearly ($18 month to month), $19 per seat on Business billed yearly ($29 monthly), and $39 per seat on Enterprise, which is sold on annual contracts only. Those are the prices on Fireflies' pricing page as of October 2026 (read on 18 October).
My take: the plan decision is about storage, not transcription. Every tier transcribes without a monthly minute cap, but Free keeps only a small shared pool of recordings for the whole team and Pro keeps 8,000 minutes per seat, so a busy calendar outgrows Pro within a quarter. Business is the first tier with unlimited storage, and that is why most teams end up there.
Toolradar data: in the October 2026 snapshot on Fireflies' Toolradar profile, Fireflies.ai is the #3 most-listed alternative among 170 transcription tools, which means buyers comparing note takers run into it constantly. Toolradar is the software directory we run.
| Plan | Yearly billing | Monthly billing | Storage | AI credits | Recording limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 400 minutes per team | 20 | 2 hours |
| Pro | $10 per seat a month | $18 per seat a month | 8,000 minutes per seat | 20 | 2 hours |
| Business | $19 per seat a month | $29 per seat a month | Unlimited | 30 | 3 hours |
| Enterprise | $39 per seat a month | Not offered | Unlimited | 50 | 4 hours |
Transcription and the meeting bot carry no monthly usage cap on any plan. AI summaries are limited on Free and unlimited from Pro up. Fireflies counts every teammate added to the workspace as a paid seat, while sharing a meeting recap link with someone outside the team costs nothing.
How much does Fireflies.ai cost per seat over a year?
Yearly billing takes 44% off Pro and about 34% off Business, so the billing choice moves the bill more than most feature choices do. One Pro seat costs $120 a year on annual billing against $216 paid monthly; one Business seat costs $228 against $348. Enterprise works out to $468 per seat a year.
The yearly discount is the right call once you know the tool sticks. Monthly billing is worth paying only for a trial month or a short project, because twelve monthly Pro payments cost 80% more than one yearly payment. Fireflies also says it offers volume discounts for teams buying more than 50 seats, through its sales team rather than a published rate.
Free: unlimited transcription, little storage
The Free plan joins Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls, transcribes in more than 100 languages, takes live notes, and lets you upload audio and video files. It includes the desktop and mobile apps, the Chrome extension, API access at 30 requests a minute and 500 a day, and limited use of AskFred, the AI assistant.
The ceiling is storage. 400 minutes per team is about thirteen 30-minute calls, and that pool is shared by everyone in the workspace, not given to each person. Summaries are limited too, so Free works for testing transcript quality on your own accents and audio, not for running a team's meeting notes. Calls stop recording at two hours on Free.
If you mainly need free transcripts, the free AI note takers roundup compares plans that cap differently.
Pro: unlimited summaries, 8,000 minutes per seat
Pro adds unlimited AI summaries, video recording, downloads of transcripts, summaries and recordings, unlimited integrations, an action-item and task manager, plus Fireflies' Personal Assistant, Email Assistant, AI Skills and Voice Agents. API limits rise to 60 requests a minute and 5,000 a day, and channels for organizing meetings become unlimited public ones.
The 8,000-minute storage cap is Pro's real limit. It equals about 133 hours of recordings per seat. Someone who spends ten hours a week in recorded meetings fills it in roughly 13 weeks, after which old recordings have to be deleted or downloaded to keep going. A light user who records two or three calls a week will rarely hit it.
Pro also keeps the two-hour recording limit from Free, so workshops and long planning sessions get cut. The Pro tier suits individuals and small teams with short, regular calls, and it is the cheapest way to get the AI features without the Free plan's summary limit.
Business: unlimited storage and team analytics
Business removes the storage cap, raises AI credits to 30 a month, and extends recordings to three hours. It adds multi-language mode for calls that switch languages, conversation intelligence (talk-time, sentiment and topic tracking), team analytics for admins, public meeting access, and user groups. API limits become pooled across the team: 60 requests a minute per paid seat, up to 1,200 a minute.
Business is the plan sales and customer teams actually need. Conversation intelligence and team analytics are what a sales manager uses for coaching, and unlimited storage removes the clean-up chore Pro creates. The cost is $9 more per seat a month than Pro on yearly billing, or $108 per seat a year. Our best AI meeting assistants for sales teams ranking compares this tier with sales-focused rivals.
Enterprise: $39 per seat, annual only
Enterprise adds a rules engine, SSO and SCIM, audit logs through the API, HIPAA compliance, private storage, custom data retention, a transcript-and-summary-only mode, a super admin role and a dedicated account manager. AI credits rise to 50 a month, recordings to four hours, and pooled API limits to 2,400 requests a minute.
The published per-seat price is useful for budgeting: Otter, for comparison, quotes its Enterprise plan privately. The catch is commitment: there is no monthly option, so a 20-seat Enterprise contract is a $9,360 commitment for the year. Buy it when legal or IT needs SSO, HIPAA or retention controls; otherwise Business covers the meeting features.
What a team pays: Fireflies against Otter and Fathom
Per-seat prices only matter multiplied by the team. The table compares a five-person team's yearly bill on each vendor's yearly-billed plans, using prices read on each vendor's pricing page on 18 October 2026.
| Plan (billed yearly) | Per seat a month | 5 seats for a year | 10 seats for a year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fireflies Pro | See table above | $600 | $1,200 |
| Fireflies Business | See table above | $1,140 | $2,280 |
| Otter Pro | $8.33 | $499.80 | $999.60 |
| Otter Business | $19.99 | $1,199.40 | $2,398.80 |
| Fathom Team | $15 | $900 | $1,800 |
| Fathom Business | $25 | $1,500 | $3,000 |
Otter's pricing page undercuts Fireflies Pro, but Otter Pro caps in-app recording at 1,200 minutes a month and meetings at 90 minutes, a usage limit Fireflies does not have. Fathom's pricing page sits between the two Fireflies tiers on its Team plan, which needs at least two users. Fireflies Business is the cheapest of the three top team tiers by a small margin.
At ten seats, choosing Fireflies Business over Fathom Business saves $720 a year, and choosing it over Otter Business saves $118.80. The full breakdown of Otter's limits is in the Otter.ai pricing guide, and the feature-by-feature matchup is in Fireflies vs Otter.
Extra costs and limits to check
- Every invited teammate is billed. Adding a colleague to the workspace adds a seat; share recap links instead if they only need to read the notes.
- AI credits differ by plan. Free and Pro include 20, Business 30 and Enterprise 50, and the pricing page does not list a price for extra credits, so check the allowance before you build a workflow around the AI apps.
- A custom bot name is a paid add-on. Pro and Business can rename the Fireflies notetaker for an extra fee that the pricing page does not list.
- Recording length caps by plan. Two hours on Free and Pro, three on Business and four on Enterprise; a half-day workshop needs Enterprise or a split recording.
- Sign-in runs through Google or Outlook. Fireflies only supports those two sign-in methods, which matters for teams on other identity providers below Enterprise.
One free extra: Fireflies Talk, its desktop dictation app, is included on every plan, Free included, according to Fireflies' plan guide.
Which Fireflies plan should you buy?
Stay on Free if you are testing transcript accuracy or record a few short calls a month. Buy Pro yearly if you are one person or a small team with light, short meetings and want unlimited summaries. Buy Business once anyone records more than about ten hours a week, needs calls longer than two hours, or manages a team that wants analytics and coaching data. Buy Enterprise only for compliance needs such as SSO, HIPAA or custom retention.
If Fireflies' storage model does not fit, the best AI meeting assistants ranking compares the field, and the Fathom review and Otter.ai review cover the closest rivals. The Fireflies.ai review covers transcript quality and integrations rather than price, and Otter on Toolradar lists more alternatives. Teams that care more about file transcription than meeting bots should start with the best AI transcription tools, while the Granola review and the Read AI review cover two more note takers priced per seat.
How we checked these prices
Every Fireflies price and limit above was read in US dollars on Fireflies' pricing page and its plan comparison table on 18 October 2026, with Fireflies' own plan guide used to confirm the per-seat rates. Otter and Fathom prices come from their pricing pages, read the same day. The team totals and storage estimates are our own arithmetic from those published figures. We did not record meetings on any of these tools. Prices change often in this category, so re-check before you buy.
